Lise Watier Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme Review

I received the Lise Watier Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme & Hydra Detect Tool in my Glam Sense Box for FREE to review.

 The first thing I did was Download the Hydra Detect app by Lise Watier Cosmétiques Inc available in the google play store on my cell phone, The Hydra Detect Tool & App allows me to test how hydrated my skin is on my....

To use the Hydra Detect Tool you open the Hydra Detect App and plug the Hydra Detect Tool into your cell phone's audio jack then tap the Hydra Detect tab on the upper right hand corner the screen should say product detected if connected properly, if not keep unplugging and plugging it back in until your device is detected, when you are ready for testing press the 2 sensor pads that look like metal wings on to the area of skin you would like to test wait till you hear an audio alert or see a percentage on your screen this number is letting you know the percentage of moisture in the area of your skin that you tested. The app will record the date and the percentage every time you test so you can monitor your skins hydration and see your highs and lows. 

If you tap the Moisture Levels Tab on the bottom right hand corner you can see Skin Moisture Levels they are Dry, Normal, Hydrated or Exceptional. If your skin is really dry you will get a note saying Ouch, your skin is really dry! Apply Hydraforce and test it again. If your skin is dry you will get a note saying Your skin is a little dry. Apply Hydraforce and test it again. If your skin is Hydrated you will get a note saying, Great! Your skin is well hydrated. Maintain your hydration routine. Share your results. If your skin is Exceptional you will get a note saying, Wow! Amazing result! Maintain your hydration routine and share your experience. My skin is normally dry however every time I applied the Lise Watier Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme my skin was either Hydrated or Exceptional.

The Lise Watier Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme packaging is very nice and secured, the jar the creme comes in is white & two shades of blue. When you remove the lid you will find a protective lid, when you lift that you will instantly smell a very fragrant creme, however it is not a strong, harsh or over bearing scent it smells clean, crisp and fresh. The creme is white and looks like it maybe a thick and possibly heavy creme however once you pick some up you realize it has a light-weight, creamy luxurious texture that basically melts right into your skin, trust me you'll see and feel this creme being absorbed right into the skin, right before your eyes, you'll instantly see and feel the hydration it feels almost like misting your skin with hydrating water, your skin instantly feels revive and alive, and if you don't believe it you can always pull out your Hydra Detect Tool and test your skin and let it tell you just how hydrated your skin really is! I started using this creme day and night and I got to say I love it because it is such a light weight creme, that is also extremely hydrating so much so that it is perfect for normal to dry skin types and weather conditions, this creme will not leave your skin oily, as the formula is not greasy in any way,  it also won't dry out your skin I know because my skin tends to be extremely dry especially in the cold Canadian winter months, I normally need to use thick, greasy creme's to keep my skin feeling  moisturized so I was very surprised when I found this light weight, non greasy creme doing wonders for my skin, it leaves my skin feeling and looking smooth, soft, hydrated, moisturized, plump and radiant looking. It's said that this creme is helping to reinforce my skin’s protective barrier and prevent water loss, it does this because it is made with Gaspé algae, a seaweed found along the cold North­eastern part of the Atlantic coast, developed a highly efficient system in order to survive in such extreme conditions. If harvested during the fall, it contains a higher active molecule concentration than at any other time of the year. So you know your getting some awesome weather protection with this Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme, you can't go wrong who doesn't love algae on their skin? I found my skin has never been so hydrated in the winter months and it looks so radiant, so young and fresh, I've gotten so many compliments about my skin since I started the Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme, and I've noticed myself that my fine lines are not standing out to me as much, I would love to add the Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme to my daily skincare routine it costs $45 for 45 ml which I believe it is well worth it because a little in the morning and a little at night goes a long way, I will definitely buy some more once I run out of creme and would definitely  recommend this Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme to family and friends. #getinthebubble

Hands

When I tested the skin on my hand it was 35.6%, so within the Normal range, the note said Your skin is a little dry. Apply Hydraforce and test it again. 

So I applied some Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme and tested again this time the skin on my hand was 62.4% within the Exceptional range, and the note said Wow! Amazing result! Maintain your hydration routine and share your experience.

T-Zone

When I tested the skin on my T-Zone it was 43.6% so within the Normal range, the note said Your skin is a little dry. Apply Hydraforce and test it again. 

So I applied some Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme and tested again this time the skin on my T-Zone was 64.5% within the Exceptional range, and the note said Wow! Amazing result! Maintain your hydration routine and share your experience.

Cheek

When I tested the skin on my Cheek it was 32.5% so within the Dry-Normal range, the note said Your skin is a little dry. Apply Hydraforce and test it again. 

So I applied some Hydraforce Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme and tested again this time the skin on my Cheek was 67.5% within the Exceptional range, and the note said Wow! Amazing result! Maintain your hydration routine and share your experience.

I have to say my skin is looking and feeling flawless but I'll let you all be the judge of that!

NIVEA Express Eye Make-Up Remover Review

ChickAdvisor sent me the NIVEA Express Eye Make-Up Remover for FREE to review, I love the NIVEA Express Eye Make-Up Remover, it removes eye makeup with ease, you don't have to rub or scrub to get it off, I used it to remove my full face of makeup just because it is very gentle, so gentle it's safe for the eye area, and safe for contact wears and it works so well removing makeup. I was totally impressed with how affordable this product is retailing at about $8.99, and how effective this product is, it does everything it promises to do. It doesn't have a scent and is oil based however it is not oily and does not leave the skin oily either. It's awesome because you also don't need to rinse this product off after either, it leaves you with a clean, fresh makeup free face and does not dry your skin out in the process. I also used this product to help me remove stubborn makeup from my makeup brushes it worked like a charm when my mild soap was failing to get the concealer and foundation out! I have to say that the NIVEA Express Eye Make-Up Remover is my favourite makeup remover at the moment it just totally blew me away, I will definitely be purchasing it again and I'll be adding it to my skincare routine for removing makeup and will continue to use it as a brush cleaner as well. I definitely recommend the NIVEA Express Eye Make-Up Remover to family and friends that are looking for a very effective eye makeup remover.

NIVEA 3-in-1 Gentle Cleansing Wipes Review

ChickAdvisor sent me the NIVEA 3-in-1 Gentle Cleansing Wipes for FREE to review, I love the NIVEA 3-in-1 Gentle Cleansing Wipes they are affordable, you get 25 wipes for around $8.99, they are 3-in-1 so they cleanse, gently removes makeup and waterproof makeup, and soothes the skin. These wipes are awesome because they are gentle on the skin, you don't have to rub or scrub to get the makeup off, it comes off easily and effortless, these wipes are super moist, and one wipe is enough to remove a full face of makeup I was really surprised at how well they work.  NIVEA 3-in-1 Gentle Cleansing Wipes leave your skin feeling clean and fresh, because they have almond oil in them, they are hydrating, they don't dry out your skin, and you don't need water to rinse so they are easy to use and convenient, they are very easy to travel with as well. They are recommended for dry skin however I feel like they could be used for all skin types because they are so gentle and have a nice, not over bearing scent to them. Compared to other wipes I've tried in the past these NIVEA 3-in-1 Gentle Cleansing Wipes are way more effective, and like I said one wipe gets the job done well, these are my favorite wipes that I've tried so far. I will for sure purchase some more of the NIVEA 3-in-1 Gentle Cleansing Wipes because I love the way they work, I love that they are easy to use not harsh on my skin, the wipes are not too thin or too thick, and they are made with a soft material, I also love the convenience as I can carry them in my makeup bag or purse and remove my makeup or even just refresh my face as needed, so they made it into my daily skincare routine. I recommend these NIVEA 3-in-1 Gentle Cleansing Wipes to family and friends they are amazing.

Garnier's SkinActive Miracle Anti-Fatigue Hydra-Gel Moisturizer Review

I received the Garnier SkinActive Miracle Anti-Fatigue Hydra-Gel Moisturizer as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I really enjoy using this product because it is a light weight formula, and a little goes a very long way, a pea size amount to be exacted. I love the scent as it is a light, fresh, and clean scent it is no way overpowering. After I cleanse my face I add a pea size amount of this Moisturizer to my skin and neck it goes on easy and light, it is non oily feels like a gel but it is not sticky, it leaves the skin feeling fresh and hydrated, it actually feels more like your applying water to your skin then Moisturizer you'll feel you skin drinking in all the Hydro-Glycerin, the Antioxidant Complex of Wild Berry extract, and Vitamins C, your skin will instantly feel awake and rejuvenated. I noticed my skin looked more alive in the two weeks I used this product, I got tons of complements on how well my skin looked, it gave me a glow that seemed to come from within. I also noticed that my fine lines were not as viable to me so I feel like this product helped a great deal with with reducing them. I have dry skin so I tend to use heavier Moisturizers on my skin, so it was nice to try out a product that was light weight, a gel even that worked well on my dry skin, and even in the winter months hydrated my skin well and did not dry it out at all. The only thing that I did not like about the Miracle Anti-Fatigue Hydra-Gel Moisturizer is the price which is around $20-$24, I normally don't like to spend that much on a Moisturizer so I don't know if I will get around to buying this product again, because of the price, but I would like to say I do believe the Miracle Anti-Fatigue Hydra-Gel Moisturizer is worth the $20 because it is a great product and it does have a lot of great benefits and it works, I hope I can afford to buy it again one day and I will recommend it to family and friends because I loved using it in my skincare routine.

Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Water Review

I received the Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Water for $1 as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club to review. I'm in love with Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Water, for many reasons, but first and foremost I love that it's a All in one product, that does everything it says it's going to do! It cleanses the skin, removes make, and refreshes the skin, you don't have to rinse when you use this product so you can use it virtually anywhere. It's also for all skin types, let me tell you it works like magic on my normally dry skin. Other things I love about it is there's NO Oil, Alcohol, or Fragrance in the ingredients, so that right there let's you know that this product is gentle and safe to use on all skin types! The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water is said to remove makeup, cleanse skin, eyes, and lip without rubbing and rinsing, it's said to act like a magnet the micelles capture and lift away dirt oil, and makeup leaving skin perfectly clean and refreshed without over drying. To use it you saturate a cotton pad with the Micellar Water apply to face, eyes and lips and gently wipe without rubbing, they suggest you use it in the Am & Pm. I have to say I was impressed by this product, I fell in love with it at first try because It wowed me when I was able to remove my full face of makeup, I had on medium coverage foundation, concealer all over my face to contour and highlight, I had on eyebrow pencil, and brow gel, eye shadows, blush, liquid lip paint, eye liner, mascara, and Nye powder, it removed all these products with three saturated cotton pads, I did need to do some rubbing but it was not rough, it took the most work to remove the mascara, eye liner and lip paint but they did come off eventually, so I love this as a makeup remover because normally I will use a baby wipe or makeup remover wipe to wipe away as much makeup as possible then I will use my cleanser to remove what is left over after the wipes, then I use my toner and usually that gets rid of whatever the cleanser may leave behind, I don't know about you but some days that's just too much work to remove makeup! I was searching for a product that can eliminate some of these steps and I got to say Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Water is that one product because it has the ability to remove all my makeup, cleanse my skin, and tone it All in one product. I suggest using this product any time not just in the Am and Pm, use it anytime you need to remove makeup, or any time you need to cleanse your skin, or any time you need to tone and refresh your skin, and trust me this Micellar Water leaves your skin feeling and looking very clean and refreshed, it's water so it feels cool and refreshing when applied to your skin, it is super hydrating water if actually feels like your skin is drinking when you apply it. I know some of you are skeptical as to how can a water remove makeup and dirt from your skin but I believe just as Garnier says the micelles are like magnets they do lift away dirt, oil, and makeup, and the proof is in the pudding or on the cotton pad to be exact, you see all the dirt, oil and makeup that is left behind and your skin is left cleaned, hydrated, refreshed without over drying, you notice this instantly after using this product. I really can't compare this product to my usual skincare products because if I did I would have to compare it to at least three products, my go to makeup remover, my go to cleanser, and my go to toner, I say ditch those three products whenever possible and just carry around a 400 ml bottle of Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Water, you can use it on the go any time all  you need is a cotton pad, no water is needed at all, for about $9 a bottle you can't go wrong, you get an amazing All in one product that can replace at least three beauty routine products, which saves you time and money, and I don't know anyone that can't use more time and money! I love this product and could probably go on forever about it, I use it daily at least twice a day, I travel everywhere with it, It has became a main in my skincare routine, because as a wife and mother of three, I don't have much time to spend on myself, so using Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Water leaves me feeling very confident that I'm still taking care of my skin's needs, It's still getting cleaned, even though I'm not plastering on tons of different products, and every mother can use to save money, my husband loves that part as well! My skin is normally dry some products will dry it out very bad but not the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water, it leaves my skin feeling like it's getting what it needs, I normally get comments on how great my skin looks, however ever since I added the Micellar Water to my routine I have been getting lots more comments! So this stuff is a keeper and officially in my daily and nightly skincare routine for now on, when I run out of this huge bottle I will definitely be buying some more. The only thing I would love to see Garnier change about the product is the hole in the bottle pours out a little to fast for my liking causing me to spill a little product every time I use it, so if they could make that hole a little smaller that would be greatly appreciated because I don't want to lose a drop of this goodness! If you have yet to try Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Water, I say what are you waiting for?? Try is asap I would recommend this product to all my family and friends.

Mettrum Originals Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds Review

I had the opportunity to try Mettrum Originals Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds for free, thanks to Socialnature, they taste and smell very nutty. I think they are awesome to add to products to give you that added digestive boost, they are great for your heart and skin as well. Feel free to experiment with different flavour combinations as I did, I added the Hemp seeds to cookies, muffins, pancakes, smoothies and yoghurt, my favourite way to enjoy them were just sprinkled on my yoghurt, I found that the best way to really get to savour that nutty flavour and texture of the Hemp seeds. I would recommend these Hemp seeds to everyone, and would bet you could add it to many different dishes and drinks, I would imagine you can add them to anything you would add flax seeds or chia seeds etc. or even dishes and drinks you would add nuts to, these Hemp seeds are so convenient and simple the sky is the limit to what you can add them too, but don't forget they are also great all alone.  I will most definitely purchase this brand of Hemp seeds again and recommend you try them too, they're really great.

My Indulgence With Brookside's Dark Chocolate Tablets Bars Review

I was given 3 Brookside Dark Chocolate Tablet Bars to try for free from ChickAdvisor, Brookside's Dark Chocolate Blueberry Almond with acai flavour, Brookside's Dark Chocolate Mango Coconut Crisp, and Brookside's Dark Chocolate Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate flavour. My thoughts on the Brookside Dark Chocolate Tablet Bars, these chocolate bars retail at about $3.69 at first you may think that this is way too much to pay for a chocolate bar but once you smell, see and taste these bars you know your not eating the average chocolate bar, their chocolates are made with better quality kosher ingredients, like real antioxidant fruits and nuts. They pack so much flavours into every bite. I will definitely purchase their chocolates in the future and will recommended them to everyone that is not allergic to any of the ingredients. Below are my thoughts on each individual chocolate bar:

Brookside Dark Chocolate Blueberry Almond with acai flavour this chocolate bar smells very fruity, and nutty, I can smell the blueberry, the acai, and the almonds as soon as I open the package. The chocolate looks dark and luxurious, breaks off with ease, you can taste the blueberry, the acai and the almonds marrying with the dark chocolate, the almonds add an extra nice crunch, and nutty flavour to this chocolate bar, I love that you get little chunks of blueberries in every bite it adds more texture to this chocolate bar, and you also get little burst of acai flavour in every bite. This chocolate bar is sweet but it is not an over powering sweet, I love it, this is my favourite Brookside Dark Chocolate Bar flavour. I give this chocolate bar a 5/5, and would recommend this chocolate bar to anyone that has a sweet tooth, and loves antioxidant fruits and almonds. 

Brookside Dark Chocolate Mango Coconut Crisp this chocolate bar also smells very fruity, the chocolate looks dark and luxurious, breaks off with ease, you can taste the mango, and coconut marrying with the dark chocolate, the crisps add an extra nice crunch to this chocolate bar, this chocolate bar is sweet but it is not an over powering sweet, I like it, I give this chocolate bar a 4/5, and would recommend this chocolate bar to anyone that loves tropical flavours. 

Brookside Dark Chocolate Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate flavour this chocolate bar also smells very fruity, and sweet, I can smell the cherry as soon as I open the package. The chocolate looks dark and luxurious, breaks off with ease, you can taste the cherries marrying with the dark chocolate, the crisps add an extra nice crunch to this chocolate bar and I love that you get little chunks of cherries in every bite it adds more texture to this chocolate bar. I found this chocolate bar to be very sweet, but it is not an over powering sweet, it is more of a sweet tooth satisfying sweet. I really like it as well, this was my husbands favourite Brookside Dark Chocolate Bar flavour. I give this chocolate bar a 4/5, and would recommend this chocolate bar to anyone that loves cherries and has a sweet tooth to satisfy.
