Mandarin Orange Cocktail

This is a very smooth and refreshing cocktail, it's like a slushie for adults, I hope you enjoy it.

Here are some of the ingredients you will need to make this delicious cocktail, if you do not want to add alcohol  to this drink you can make it a mocktail I would suggest using orange juice, or pop like sprite, 7up or ginger ale in place of the rum and wine.

Carefully cut your oranges into wedges, this will be your garnish.

Choose your favorite dry white wine for this cocktail, if you are not a dry white wine fan you may choose a sweeter white wine, you may also choose to use sparkling wine or champagne in this cocktail.

You will need to purchase the Mandarin Orange Cocktail Mix
 from Mixed Not Stirred

Be careful when you pour the Mandarin Orange Cocktail Mix into your wine because it bubbles and rises a bit, you don't want to use too small of a pitcher for this cocktail.

You will want to stir the Mandarin Orange Cocktail Mix into the wine very well until it dissolves, don't rush this step.

You can measure out your rum or free hand it, whatever floats your boat.

Add rum to taste, add it a little at a time and taste until you make it to your liking.

Stir the rum into the wine mixture well.

If you have a blender you can use it to blend the cocktail, if you do not have a blender just serve this cocktail cold over ice.

You may add as little or as much ice cubes as you desire.

Fill the blender with as much cocktail mix as needed.

I suggest only blending how much cocktail mix as you need at the time, put the left overs in the fridge and then blend more as need.

Blend until there is no more ice chunks.

Choose your favorite cocktail glasses to serve this cocktail in.

Carefully fill your glasses with the desired amount of cocktail mix.

Your cocktail should look very smooth.

Cut slits in your orange wedges and then place them on the rims of your cocktail glasses as a garnish.

Serve these cocktails right away before the ice starts to melt.

How refreshing does this Mandarin Orange Cocktail look? It was a very delicious, I would suggest adding orange juice to top the jug up before you blend your cocktails to cut some of the sweetness and also make the cocktail go further. I hope you enjoy this cocktail with good company.
